Nina in a Nutshell
What I Do
I'm a design researcher motivated by understanding how things work (and where they fall short!) and exploring how they can work better for the people who use them and the systems they operate within.
I use qualitative research methods, including design-based approaches, to examine complex experiences and perspectives, moving beyond initial problem definitions to identify what truly needs attention and uncover opportunities for thoughtful design decisions.
With a background in communication design, I also use visual storytelling to help make complex ideas and research insights clear and accessible.
What I'm Looking For
I am currently completing my Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Design at The Ohio State University, graduating in May 2026, and am seeking opportunities to apply my strengths in qualitative research, communication, and collaboration within teams working to improve products, systems, and experiences.
