Project Overview
For this project, I designed a type specimen book titled “Typographic Taxonomy,” drawing parallels to the practice of scientific classification and typographic classification. This theme is visible in the book in the captions that dissect notable features of the typeface and the tables that categorize each font of each typeface, similarly to that of the periodic table of elements. My layouts feature a dynamic grid with certain elements on a slant to make the book more visually interesting. All of the copy in the book was written by me.
The final book is meant to be consumed as a digital PDF to allow users to interact with the links that lead to content sources and help with navigating the book.
